Richard Mervyn

Founding Director

Richard Mervyn is the founder of Skyworks and the worlds most experienced aerial producer/director/cameraman. He has now filmed over 2,000 hours in the air. He comes to Skyworks with a background of factual and arts programmes stretching from the late 70s. Previously, he wrote, directed and filmed ‘The Making of Britain’, which was entirely shot from the air for Channel Four with backing from Marks and Spencer. His imagery was later used in Simon Schama’s BBC epic series “History of Britain”. For Skyworks, Richard has written, produced, directed and filmed 54 programmes for ITV and provided the aerial imagery for both series of BBC2’s Restoration.

Eric Harwood

Head of Content

Eric’s career in television has been broad and successful. He co-founded the production companies Wild and Fresh (two RTS awards, a BAFTA and a Golden Hugo) and Planet Wild (five RTS awards) during the nineties. He joined Skyworks following a three-year tenure as Controller of Factual at Carlton Central. He executive produced Channel Four’s Emmy award-winning documentary, “The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off”, and is currently overseeing Skyworks slate of factual programmes.

Damian Keogh

Managing Director

Damian oversees the company's overall strategy, and looks after Skyworks’ day-to-day management, including all legal and commercial operations and exploitation of all IP rights (archive, programming and formats). He is responsible for putting together co-production funding and deficit finance and exploring new media opportunities. Damian has been at the heart of Skyworks’ restructuring and expansion, securing investment into the company and strengthening the company's asset base and value. He is particularly focused on the growth and exploitation of the HD archive library as well as being involved in the development and production of a wide range of the company’s programming.

Prior to becoming MD at Skyworks Damian worked with Richard Mervyn on the Making of Britain.

Colin Mills

Consultant

Colin has worked in the advertising industry for over 20 years, starting at Saatchis in London and thereafter with BBDO where he ran agencies in Lisbon, Moscow and Amsterdam, most recently returning to Moscow as CEO of ADV, the biggest marcom group in Eastern Europe. In addition to developing marketing communications he has worked with many multinational clients on global media projects, notably Pepsi-Cola, Gillette and Wrigley. From an association with Skyworks that goes back to its inception, Colin now works with Skyworks to develop projects in new media and joint projects with advertisers. Colin is based on a plane somewhere between Amsterdam and London.
