Skyworks footage lends itself to many types of interactive use. We have developed some unique applications, both in partnership with other companies and working with other specialists. Here are some of the main developments we have at present
MediaSavi
MediaSavi is a Silverlight map-based application which locates key Skyworks material on a mapping interface. This is done in modules allowing the user to populate the map with the content that is relevant. One module is the Microclip™, a small (45"-1'30") edited clip of a particular point of interest or key feature. These are all geolocated and allow the user to explore a region or country through the eyes of a bird. A second module is a geolocated aerial documentary, which the user can control by means of a coverflow timeline, and a third is a real-time flight in a particular area of interest.
MediaSavi is great for both informing and inspiring travellers, and the interface can support many more types of geolocated data and 'itinerary-building' functionalities.
